Mr Leye Ajayi (MD, FRCS (Urol))

Mr Leye Ajayi is a Consultant Urologist at The Wellington Hospital. He is also Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Royal Free Hospital in North London.

His main interests are andrology, prostate disease and urinary tract stone disease. He has set up a metabolic stone screening service to help patients reduce the risk of repetitive stone formation. In addition to green light laser treatment for benign prostate disease, he also performs blue light photodynamic resection of bladder tumours.

Mr Andrew Ballero (BSc(Hons), MSc(Urol), FRCS(Urol))

I am consultant urological surgeon at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals, one of the largest trusts in the country. I provide a high quality general urological diagnostic and treatment service and have sub-speciality interests in Endourology, including percutaneous and laser stone surgery and upper tract laparoscopy for both benign and malignant disease, and voiding disfunction.

I trained on the North London rotation and received additional training in laparoscopy and stone surgery from National and Internationally renowned experts. I have published and lectured widely in the fields of endourology and voiding dysfunction, and was awarded a Hunterian Professorship from the Royal college of Surgeons of England for research into the basic science of the overactive bladder.

Mr Mark Feneley (MD, FRCS(Eng), FRCS (Urol)

Mr Mark Feneley is a Consultant Urologist at The Wellington Hospital. Mr Feneley is also Senior Lecturer in Urological Oncological Surgery at University College London and Consultant Urologist at University College London Hospitals.

He has a special interest in oncological and general urological medicine and has particular clinical research interests in PSA testing in the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer, the treatment of benign prostate disease using green light laser surgery and the treatment of bladder cancer.

Mr Rizwan Hamid (MBBS, FRCS(Urol))

Mr Hamid has a broad based training in general urology. He has been sub-speciality trained in female, neuro-urology & reconstructive urology at some of the most prestigious hospitals in London including The Middlesex Hospital, University College London Hospitals and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He performed research in infertility after spinal injuries at London Spinal Injuries Unit, Stanmore in association with Institute of Urology, London.

He can offer advice on general urological problems including lower urinary tract dysfunction, erectile dysfunction and urinary tract infections. He specialises in the treatment male and female voiding dysfunction, urinary incontinence and overactive bladder. He performs surgery for all types of incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse including colposuspension, autologous slings, trans vaginal tape and sacrocolpopexy. He implants artificial sphincter in men with post operative incontinence.

His particular interest is in the management of bladder problems after neurological diseases with BOTOX therapy, bladder augmentation, bladder replacement and both continent and incontinent diversions. He practice includes tertiary referrals for painful bladder syndrome. He can perform neuromodulation for this and overactive bladder problems.

Mr Barry Hayden Maraj (MB, ChB, FRCS, PhD, FRCS(Urol), DipLS)

Mr Barry Maraj is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Whittington Hospital NHS Trust and Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL & Royal Free University Hospital.

He is also the laparoscopic urological surgeon at the Whittington Hospital and visiting laparoscopic surgeon and mentor for the Caribbean Urology Association (CURA).

He is a general urological surgeon with main interests in Laparoscopic treatment of kidney, bladder and prostate disorders and Holmium Laser treatment of urinary stones and green light vaporisation for prostate enlargement.

His main research interest is the molecular biology of urologic cancers with the aim to develop markers for screening, prognosis and management. This complements his clinical and surgical interest in minimally invasive techniques and therapies.

Mr Amir Kaisary (MB, BCh, MA, ChM, FRCS)

Mr Amir Kaisary is a Consultant Urologist at The Wellington Hospital. Mr Kaisary is also Consultant Urologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Urology at the Royal Free Hospital in North London.

Mr Kaisary's main interest is the diagnosis and management of prostate cancer and benign prostate disease together with bladder cancer and renal cell carcinoma. A pioneer in the development of new diagnostic tests and treatments, he is currently involved in a joint research project with the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

Mr Kaisary is also the author of the internationally recognised text book, The Textbook of Prostate Cancer, Pathology, Diagnosis and Treatment.

Mr Tim Lane (BSc(Hons), FRCS(Urol))

Mr Tim Lane is a Consultant Urologist at The Wellington Hospital. Mr Lane is also Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital and Clinical Lecturer in Urological Cancer at Queen Mary Medical School, London.

His main interests are in the field of laparoscopy and minimally invasive surgery, the surgery of urological cancers, stone disease and the use of lasers in urology. His main research interest centres around the molecular biology and genomics of urological malignancies - in particular prostate cancer - for which he has received a number of national and international awards. He is the author of over 100 papers, abstracts and books.

Mr Jeremy Ockrim (MD, BSc (Hons), FRCS (Urol))

Mr Jeremy Ockrim is a Consultant Urologist at the Wellington Hospital. Mr Ockrim is also Honorary Senior Lecturer at UCL and Consultant Urological Surgeon in Female and Reconstructive Surgery at University College Hospital.

For the last five years, Mr Ockrim has subspecialty trained in Female and Reconstructive Urology at the Institute of Urology, University College Hospital, offering tertiary expertise to Urologists nationwide.

His practice specialises in the treatment of voiding dysfunction, including male and female lower urinary tract symptoms and outlet obstruction, male and female incontinence including colposuspension, sling, TVT and sphincter replacement, fistulae and diverticula surgery, female prolapse repair, bladder augmentation, bladder replacement and both continent and incontinent diversion.

Mr Ockrim has particular interest in managing bladder over activity and pain syndromes. This includes medical therapy, acupuncture, pTENS and neuromodulation. He is the clinical lead for this new technique at UCLH, and is one of the first providers of sacral nerve stimulation to manage urgency, incontinence and pain syndromes in the United Kingdom.

Mr Guy Webster (FEBU, MB ChB, FRCS(Urol)

After qualification from Birmingham University in 1988, I did surgical training in West Midlands & Leeds , research in urodynamic methodology and a Fellowship in Brisbane, Australia. I have been a Consultant at Barnet & Chase Farm NHS Trust since 2002 where I have clinical interests in renal cancer , urinary tract stones and laparoscopy including robotic surgery which I have introduced into the Trust .I am the Stone and Clinical Governance Lead in the dept and a laparoscopic mentor and member of teaching faculty for British Association of Urological Surgeons . I believe in a patient-focused practice.
